Easter Festivities

Shawn had his first picture taken with the Easter Bunny this year, and had his first real Easter (even though this is technically his 2nd, he was only 1 month old at the time, and we don't really count it :) ). He was very confused about what he was looking at, but he was very friendly and did not have any problems at all! (As long as Daddy was there too).

We also had our first Easter egg hunt! It was so much fun to get together with the other kids in our little community and see them all hunt for the eggs. Shawn had a little hard time moving from the starting line, so with a little help (from Mommy and Daddy) he was able to find a spot with a bunch of eggs and stick them in his basket before anyone else was able to pick them up!

We especially enjoyed all of the candy that we found inside (even though Mommy and Daddy did not like having to clean up the mess he made with the chocolate everywhere!)

Back From the Dead!

Sorry for the long absence, we don't have a good excuse (So we are not going to make one up!). But we thought that with the start of the new semester, we would turn over a new leaf and try to have at least one new posting each week as kind of a recap for what happened. And if there is anything that we just have to share, you might get lucky and find more than one post during the week. We look forward to sharing with all of our family and friends what is going on in the lives of the Gradens!

Oh, and before we forget, we must inform you that Shawn has now graduated from the helmet! We are all so excited that Shawn is doing much better. It took a little bit for Shawn to get used to the fact that his head was not as protected as it once was, but he is slowing getting the hang of it.

And one thing that Shawn is now is fearless. He will do anything without any reservation or hesitation. It sure is a challenge keeping up with him.
